Email goes out from your own mailbox. You connect Gmail, Outlook or an IMAP account once, and from then on every message carries your address, your signature and your sending reputation. Selda has no domain of its own in this path and cannot send from one.
Connect a mailbox
- Open Settings → Channels in the app.
- Pick your provider. You complete the login on the provider’s own page — Selda never sees your password.
- The mailbox appears as connected. That is the whole setup.
The daily cap
A new campaign is capped at 20 messages a day per mailbox by default, openers and follow-ups counted together. You can change it per campaign or per workspace; the screen always says which number is in force and where it came from, so a default is never presented as your choice.
The cap is deliberately low. Your provider enforces limits of its own at its end and reports nothing back, so the mailbox’s true ceiling is unknown — the send screen says unknown rather than inventing a figure.
Follow-ups stay on the thread
A follow-up is sent as a reply to the message before it, so the recipient sees one conversation rather than three strangers. When someone answers, the thread continues in your mailbox and in the Sales Inbox.
What Selda does not do here
- It does not send without you. Drafts wait until a person presses send.
- It does not warm your domain. Nothing in Selda is quietly building a reputation for you in the background today. If the address is new, start at a low volume and stay there for a while.
- It does not mass-mail. Every message is written from research about that one company, which is why the cap being low costs you nothing.
