Pause the workspace

Some moments call for the same answer: nothing in this workspace should move. A pause holds the whole workspace at once. It is different from Stop all sending, which holds outbound messages only.

What a pause holds

• Sending, including messages that are already scheduled.
• Follow-ups.
• Integration syncs.
• Scheduled runs.

What it does not touch

Nothing is deleted. Your connections stay connected, and your campaigns, leads and drafts stay as they are.

How to pause and resume

Settings → Workspace → Pause. Press Pause workspace, check the list in the window, add a note for your team if you want one, and confirm. While the workspace is paused every page shows a banner saying so, and it cannot be closed.

Only an owner or an admin can pause or resume. Everybody else sees the state and who set it, and nothing to press.

What happens when you resume

Press Resume workspace in Settings or in the banner. The messages that were held are scheduled again, spread across your sending windows rather than all at once, so a long pause does not end in a burst. Messages that were never approved stay in review. The confirmation says how many follow-ups and first messages were scheduled again.

If you try to send while paused

The send button is disabled and says why. A send that still reaches the server is refused with the same reason, and nothing goes out. See When Selda holds a send for every other reason a message waits.
